The world's largest investor presented a line of electric cars – Hengchi.

Evergrande Group Investment Holding from China presented six electric cars under the Hengchi brand. Cars are clearly marked, from 1 do 6, and the first one has already been shown to the local media.

The new Hengchi range includes six models of the most popular body formats, from minivan to crossover, and the first model on the assembly line will be Hengchi 1. Production should start next year.

China Evergrande Group is the largest investor in the world, but in March 2019 years announced, that in three years time it will become "the largest and strongest electric car company in the world". Hengchi D-Class luxury sedan 1 will be the first model of this manufacturer.

Projekt hengchi 1 was developed by Anders Warming, who previously worked on the Mini, BMW i Borgward.

Hengchi 1 it is equipped with massive wheels, it has hidden door handles and uses rear view cameras instead of traditional side mirrors.

Hengchi also introduced five other models with simple numeric markings. Hengchi 2 is a B-Class luxury sedan, Hengchi 3 is a large luxury crossover, Hengchi 4 is a seven-seater minivan, a 5 i 6 are more compact crossovers.

Evergrande Holding reported, that it is preparing to sell its shares to finance preparations for the production of future electric vehicles. The company plans to introduce 1,556 billion shares on Shanghai STAR Market, that could be worth over 4,7 a billion dollars.
