Ettore Bugatti prepared in class to 1500 cm3 sixteen-valves, four cylinder bore engine 68 mm and piston stroke 100 mm. The crankshaft is placed in one slide bearing and two roller bearings. Engine with displacement 1453 cm3 was equipped with two high-voltage Bosch magnetos and two Zenith carburettors. In the racing version, the car was powerful 29,4 kW (40 KM) by 4500 RPM. The four-speed gearbox was not locked to the engine. As a chassis, Bugatti used a proven type 13 with a short two-meter track. The drum brakes on the rear wheels were operated by a hand lever. In addition, it was possible to use a foot pedal brake, acting on the propeller shaft (Bugatti Brescia had front wheel brakes only on the z model 1926 year). With a fifty-liter fuel tank, the vehicle was heavy 610 kg and reached the top speed 160 km/h.

In the Italian Grand Prix in class up to 1500 cm3 with the Bugatti syndrome consisting of Friedrich, from Vizcaya, Baccoli and Marco only competed for Italian cars - four OM, three Chiribiri, one Restelli and one SB. But even an unfortunate bib number 13 did not prevent Ernest Friedrich from winning first place over time 2:59:18 and average speed 115,2 km/h. De Vizcaya was second, and Baccoli and Marco were third and fourth. Bugatti Brescia continued to compete successfully in races for several more years, np. w 1923 years in San Sebastian, in years 1924 i 1925 in Bologna and at Le Mans, and also on the Isle of Man.
