Thats a 2 liter, reliable engine with a diameter of cylinders 60 mm and piston stroke 80 mm has become a pillar of the famous series 35. It consisted of two cast-iron blocks with four cylinders each. Each cylinder had two intake valves and one exhaust valve. It also had a small cooler, however, he didn't need a fan even at the Targa Florio mountain races. The oil pan was designed as an oil cooler. It was going through it 13 copper tubes, through which the cooling air flowed. The most expensive part of the car was the nine-piece crankshaft, whose price in 1927 r. equaled the entire chassis of the Bugatti 40.

The rear axle suspension with upside down quarter-elliptical springs without stirrups has become typical.
