HOW TO GET A CAMPER ROUTE?

HOW TO GET A CAMPER ROUTE?

Who of us would not like to travel as long and as wide as a year, on top of that, always then, whenever your heart desires? I think, that many have spoken aloud at the moment:
"I want!”.

Unfortunately, dreams are dreams, and reality is reality. Often painful. Most of us are limited by the statutory holidays and, what's more, those twenty-some days, which he can "choose" for "pleasure", he has to allocate for the days between holidays, possible other occasions, any random accidents ... could be mentioned for a long time. The sense is this, that happy are you, who can spend three weeks a year for a one-off trip

To use this limited time to the maximum, it is worth planning the entire trip properly. How to do it?

TO THINK OR NOT TO THINK?

Of course - to wonder.

Departure should be thoughtful. However, it is not about that, to plan each day from dawn to dusk, but to prepare for its various scenarios. That's it, so that - if it is constantly raining in one place or that the area turns out to be not very interesting - to have knowledge about other attractions, that could be seen, without going too far. To always travel with a notebook filled with addresses and telephone numbers: to the embassies, to the consulate, to people you know, who may live in that country, to the emergency room, technical assistance, etc..

Another thing is to use both your heart and your mind. It is not worth going to these places, in which you do not necessarily want to. Better to choose these, which are of interest, they attract. On the other hand, however, you have to consider time and distance, what one has to overcome.

Driving to Georgia across half a continent then, when you only have a week at your disposal, it is not a very wise idea. This is an extreme example, nevertheless illustrating it quite well, what I mean.

MAPS AND GUIDES

Once you've made up your mind about, where do you want to go, find the right materials. Above all, even if you have a GPS, get accurate and up-to-date (!) car map. Driving with ten-year-old maps can get you somewhere, from which you will have no way to leave or which you will have to make up for roads. If the map is updated, it can save you more than once. Don't put all your hope on GPS - it has it to himself, that he can refuse to obey then, when you need it most.

The same goes for the guides. Even the ones that are outdated by three, four years can be inaccurate and so they can send you there, where it's not at all attractive anymore. A smaller problem - from the perspective of driving a motorhome - is, however, than overlooking a convenient road due to the fact, that it has not yet been registered on the old-date map.

Also check (Currently, the most reliable source of knowledge is simply the Internet, don't underestimate him!), what conditions are on the roads, which you want to drive. Much depends on the season - try not to go on trips to cold regions (for example to Russia or Estonia at a time other than summer) or in these, where it rains too much and traffic is limited. It will take away all the pleasure of traveling.

FIND OUT AS MORE ABOUT THE PLACE , WHERE ARE YOU GOING ……

A trip to a foreign country is not only about checking the map and reading a guidebook. It is also getting to know a different culture from the inside. For these, who do not believe: so, already in Europe itself, customs and traditions are sometimes so different in different countries or regions, it's hard to get overwhelmed, how it is possible at all in the era of incredibly progressive globalization and uniformization.

For you, as a person traveling with a motorhome, one of the most important information will be that concerning the culture of moving on the roads. The Germans drive carefully and properly, The Portuguese are in the habit of exceeding the speed limit, The Greeks abuse the horn and do not pay attention to "little things" such as double continuous. So it's better to set yourself up for a specific driving style before you set off on a journey.

Good route planning also applies to shorter trips. RV travelers think often, that since the distance is not large, you don't have to pay that much attention to the road, after which (after)is driving. And then most often, completely by accident, they land on the street that runs in the opposite direction to this one, which should be peeled. Yet the less time you spend wandering and finding the right path, the more you will be able to enjoy visiting new places and relaxing in beautiful scenery.
