Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren – the expertise of the McLaren FI team was used in developing this design (m.in. aluminum chassis, lightweight and stiff body made of carbon fiber reinforced CFRP plastic and a pioneering solution of two carbon fiber longitudinal members that absorb the energy of a crash). The production version was shown in Frankfurt. 5-a speed automatic transmission with three programs. In the Manuell mode, further switchings are available: Sport, SuperSport, Race. Accelerate: do 100 km / h w 3,8 s, do 200 -10,6 s, do 300 – 28,8 s. Maximum speed: 334 km/h. Performance-matched safety is ensured by the ceramic brake discs and the SBC electro-hydraulic braking system [Sensotronic Brake Control), adaptive airbags, ESP system and pressure monitoring in 18-inch wheels.
