W 1905 r. an English company called Vauxhall Motors Ltd. hired an outstanding constructor Laurence Pomeroy, which, according to the company's policy, was to build a car for the middle class.

Elegant was built soon, 2-local car for a moderate price 200 pounds. The water-cooled engine had three cylinders. A powerful engine 6,7 kW (9 KM) it was hidden under the typical iron-shaped mask, characteristic of models manufactured until 1905 r. Later models already had a classic front radiator. The clutch and 3-speed gearbox transferred the driving force from the engine at the front to the rear axle. The classic chassis had both rigid axles sprung with longitudinal leaf springs. For the first time, the company used a steering wheel instead of a crank to steer the front wheels. The steering wheel was an invention of a French designer, car competitor and owner of the car factory Emil Levassor, known since 1898 r.

Z 20 Only one of this Vauxhall model has survived. It is on display alongside other cars from 1903-1930 in the collection of the Luton company.
