Until recently, cars were not seen, which combined opposing features. It turns out, that nothing is impossible for engineers and designers, who have proven this fact with their hard work. The station wagon body was associated with stability and a not very beautiful silhouette.

It used to be like that, because today we pass cars on the roads, which clearly appear to contradict this statement. The bold features of the designers were accepted by the accountants of large concerns. Their behavior was not accidental, because today the car is bought mainly by eye. Of course, the price and the level of equipment are also important, but it is the aesthetic qualities that largely outweigh the rest. Knowing the laws of the market, it's easy to shoot at the current trends, but unfortunately not every producer succeeds.

An estate car with sporting aspirations must captivate the crowds, to become a bestseller. It will be okay, if the appearance goes hand in hand with decent performance. That shouldn't be a problem, because modern engines are so efficient, that thanks to turbocharging they achieve quite high power, even with low displacement.

Additionally, these units are not fuel-hungry at all. Treated wisely on the road, they can easily go down to less than ten liters per hundred. That's not much considering that, that the estate car weighs its own and there is no way to overcome it. However, it is much roomier than any sedan, or a liftback.
