Replace the brake friction linings

img21Replace the brake friction linings.
To replace the linings, remove the cotter pin and press the jaw towards the center of the wheel, remove the plates from it. In this way, the jaw can be removed using a special clamping spring and the plates can be replaced, retaining friction linings. Before removing the jaw, press the plunger as far as possible inside the control cylinder; with the rear wheel brakes, this shift is made by turning the piston to the right, which, after the operation is finished, should be directed to the central bloat and the hollow marked on the brake vent joint towards the wheel axle. At the same time should be checked, if the rubber seals securing pistons and handbrake covers on the rear wheels are in the right seats and are not damaged or hardened - if so, they should be replaced.
