Fiat FSO 1500 with gas

I am a Fiat FSO car user 1500 combo with 1990 year. In connection with the growing expenses for gasoline, I decided to adapt it to run on gas. I decided to install the company "Lovato", which, adding to that the replacement of spark plugs and air filter, and a minor carburetor adjustment cost me 1500 PLN. Due to the spacious trunk, I chose the largest, commercially available 65 liter tank. After mounting it transversely, there is still quite a lot of space behind the rear seats. Practically, the tank holds approx 54 dm3 gazu. I try to refuel at "cheaper" stations (price differences per liter of gas reach even 20 pennies). You can refuel at any petrol station marked with LPG symbols. There are stations, where gas and petrol are sold.
The power selector switch is mounted adjacent to the center console, under the instrument panel. There are three lights that tell you about: current gas supply, fueling with gasoline, the amount of gas in the cylinder. The reserve has been set, as I wanted, i.e. so that I can drive another one 80 km.
It follows from my observations, that the car, due to the gas supply, did not increase the demand for fuel. I suspect, that it was because the carburetor was not in the best condition. When I'm on gas, the carburetor is disconnected from the fuel circuit, and in it, when fueled with gasoline, the losses are greatest.
I mainly use the car for city driving. I was expecting a drop in engine power, but in urban conditions, the differences are almost imperceptible.
Opponents of gas installations argue, that there is a strong smell in a gas-powered car and
gas. I do not confirm this. When refueling, you can feel the gas inside the car, if the door is open, similar to refueling with gasoline.
Unfortunately, the current gas price is much higher than when my car was adapted to run on gas. I drive around. 800 km per month. I have calculated (assuming the average gas price 2,50 PLN, and gasoline 5,30 PLN), that the costs of the gas installation will be amortized after driving approx. 6500 km, i.e. in my case after approx. 8 months of driving. The obligatory annual technical inspection of the vehicle is ahead of me. I am sorry to say, that in the case of a car with a gas installation, only some stations do it.
