Installations with multi-point injection of gaseous fuel

Installations with multi-point injection of gaseous fuel are enjoying great success. There are several factors for this. Firstly, thanks to the installation of this type, the consumption of LPG and gasoline in terms of 100 km is practically the same. Power loss, as shown by the engine powered by such an installation, shapes on a level 2-3%. This is also important, that bringing points, in which fuel is injected into the manifolds near the intake valves, reduced the tendency to recurrent explosions, which in the earlier types of installations often led to the destruction of the plastic elements of the intake system.
When calculating the costs resulting from the use of gas, we should also take into account, that everyone, even new, a car with an installed installation requires a technical inspection, checking the correctness of assembly and the appropriate entry in the registration certificate (annually repeated). The review of a car with an LPG system is several dozen zlotys more expensive.
If we decide to buy the installation, and the economic account will show, what type of device should we buy, it is time to choose a place, in which we will install the tank. The cylindrical containers are most often mounted in the luggage compartment, right behind the back of the armchair. This solution makes in hatchback or station wagon cars, that we lose the ability to transport longer items in space, which is created after folding the rear seat and removing the rear shelf. Therefore, it is advisable to install toroidal tanks in this type of vehicle, in place of the spare wheel. In the case of cars carrying the wheel under the boot floor, the installation of a toroidal tank is also possible, however, it requires a different method of attachment than in the case of a tank located in the trunk and the use of a slightly different multivalve. So what to do with the spare wheel. The simplest solution is to carry the wheel in a bag, which we will get in the plant assembling the installations. In some cars (np. Berlin, Partner or Kangoo) it is possible to transfer the wheel to a special bracket, such as in off-road vehicles, located on the rear door.
