It then stops working and leaves the thief time to find the control unit and the immobilizer circuits. Electronic fuses after removing the short circuit restore the efficiency of the circuits and the alarm continues to work.
Many car alarms offer additional functions, e.g.. garage door opening, activating the radio notification about the theft attempt, delayed switching of exterior lights, separate unlocking of the boot lock, etc..
